Any tips on mounting brackets or somethin for steps like these? I’ve looked at their mounting before and I wasn’t sure how I’d get em to bolt up?

Also, I’d be down for a running board this style but idk who makes a style that that would fit a regular cab.

Tell me about it. Most guys buy running boards and then cut them in half to make it happen lol.. Wasnt what I had in mind though. And I can figure something out if I really wanted to just wondered if it had the streets of TW yet.

That's so funny as it was my first idea.
I think the ones you're looking at can work but might need reinforcing..
Maybe a new thread asking regular cabs what steps they use and how they installed them.
    Can't go wrong with sliders

I agree completely but that's not what op is asking. He's looking for a little help or maybe another product. Your answer doesn't even tell the guy why you would stay away.
Bottom line is it's his truck and can do what he wants and I think your answer would be helpful to him with a bit of explanation. Otherwise it is probably unnecessary.

I said they're chinese, and they're rock grabbers. That outlines all of the problems with them, doesn't it?

I was referring to this, until I quoted you then you had a reasons.

That's all I'm saying... be helpful but "we're not" gets him nowhere

The trucks not a crawler. Although it is very offroad capable even the way it sits— that’s not the objective of the steps. The truck has 9” of lift lol I’m just trying to find something stylish to make it easier for people to get into it lol.
