I have a one-off flatbed on my truck that was built by the previous owner. Moving forward, I know that I want to add at least side and rear gates (see mockup), and the ability to add an iKamper to the bed.

But I'm not really sure the best way to go about it. Everything I've mocked up already looks silly in photoshop. So if anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears! Bonus points if you know someone in middle Tennessee that would trade the stock TRD pro bed that I have laying around here for the fab labor.

I would like the iKamper to remain relatively flush with the top of the prinsu rack over the cab, and definitely don't want to add a lot of height to the rear of the truck above that line, so that rules out a lot of the flatbed canopy designs I've seen on here. And I have a Tacomapocalypse bed rack that could be utilized in the build, but I haven't figured out a way to do that yet that doesn't look silly. Below are some very simple mockups of what I generally want.

    Thanks all!

I say drop that RTT down slightly and run it backwards. I run mine that way to try and save mpgs and I think it looks better. I bet yours would too.

That looks great. iKamper explicitly says not to run it backwards, but I assume that's just for aerodynamics and gas mileage concerns. I'll probably end up doing it anyway, just need to figure out the best way to mount it.

Ya I talked to them about running it backwards. They don’t recommend it for aero reasons but as long as it’s out of the wind behind the cab I don’t think we need to worry about it.
