I am looking to upgrade to the speaker only option. I realize it is expensive for what it is, but I am still interested. It was my understanding that the stock system (2022 with non-JBL) is 4 ohm. The Audio+ is listed as 2 ohm. I called Audio+ and they are telling me the stock system is 2 ohm... Can someone confirm? Also, lets say they are different ohms, is this something I should be concerned about? It is my understanding that the mismatch could cause the stock HU to potentially overheat. Any help on this is appreciated.

I won't push if you have your mind made up (I was the same way about getting a pro), but I just upgraded to debatably better speakers/amp for 650, and I wasn't confident I could even pull off the install (ended up being a breeze and just as plug n play because of folks on this forum).

I had a 2017 and went through a few upgrades. The install does not worry me, I just want to keep it simple. I am possibly going to upgrade to the full system, and they said I would only need to pay the difference in cost. I want to keep it simple if possible and just do the speakers if it sounds acceptable.
