OEM Led Headlight Trade for Alpharex or Morimoto

I have a 2021 TRD Off Road and I was looking to see if anyone wants to trade a set of Alpharex or Morimoto headlights with the Amber DRL, I would also be willing to add some cash on top to cover if necessary!

 

OEM is way better than Alpharex. Search for crashnburn’s headlight threads in here. Tons of good info.

 

Damn really? I really wanted the amber DRL for my truck i know morimoto makes them and are a solid company but if the reliability isn't there ig ill stick with oem

 

Yes. They look cool, but they’re actually a downgrade from what you already have.

“The OEM LEDs have excellent beam pattern distribution, they don't have the odd dark spots below the hot spot that Morimoto has or the less than ideal double cut off low hot spot, the OEM lights have appropriate uplight unlike Morimoto and they are higher in peak intensity output than Morimoto or a Philips H9 bulb swap. To further put the low beam performance in perspective, lux at 18' with the OEM LEDs is higher than the Xenon Depot brand HID swap, while being street legal without blinding glare.”

Yep, huge downgrade to "look cool" with amber DRLs.
