Selling guitars, amps

My father in law recently passed away. He was a musician and had a band.

I am helping my mother in law sell some of this but we know nothing of its value and such.

Is there a good site/forum to help value and sell this?

Reverb is a good site for selling gear; eBays still also decent.

Forum wise, there is thegearpage, but sort of need to be an established member with some cred first; sounds like they’ve had a rash of scammers lately, so most would be apprehensive of a new seller.

Could always post here in the “other” area as well.

For values; I’d recommend searching completed/sold listings and see what similar items have sold for. I could probably help give you some guidance too, if you get stuck on anything or want a second opinion.
