Or you could get a cheap Stant locking gas cap so people don't steal your gas

Yeah I had a friend help me with the rear (only took an hour or two maybe) but he had to go to something with his family when we were 4 hours deep into the front. The rest I got done with a little help from my girlfriend. Now I need to get new tires mounted and get an alignment because I definitely messed that up

I did moog also. Tie rods, sway bars links. I like their products very sturdy if you ask me.

20220420_174124.jpg I haven't installed them yet because I'm sure I'm going to need to do a cab mount chop and haven't had a chance but I do love how my FN 5 star look. Plus Dustin at FN is the best person to work with. I can't recommend him enough.

Did the ECGS bearing today, with axle seal and also swapped both front shocks with 3rd gen TRD off road take offs. Drives nice!
Getting the axle to pop out almost got me. After about two hours of wiggling and smacking and wedging it finally let go.
No matter how hard I try to stay organized my work area always turns into a shit show.

Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
Used the mall crawler to do some work trucking, and brought a new to me lathe home to my want to be shop. Between 3 different Tacos and that trailer, I’ve hauled over 5 tons of tooling home and it’s always done great. Probably close to 3500# today. eta: the floppy straps on the lathe were used to load it with the engine lift behind it. Getting it off the trailer is going to be waaaay more interesting.

New grille, low profile window vents on the front & bug deflector today. Rear window vents and connecting the raptor lights probably tomorrow (need an add a fuse). Called it a day @ beer-thirty

Is this the same truck you were working on getting the pin striping off? Looking good!

Sure is! If you zoom in on the 2nd pic, you can see I haven’t quite made it to the pin stripes on bed yet haha

About as clean as it gets anymore. Guess I'm no longer a candidate for the car wash with the snorkel. About 20 oak trees on just over 1 acre so it won't look like this in the morning

I just did the exact same thing on my 3rd gen. All 4 corners 5100's, OME Dakars on the back, and rough country upper control arms. 2 days of work. :angrygirl:

You ain't lying. My garage currently looks like a tornado when through it. Started with all the right tools and ended with "where the F did I put that 19mm" lmao

One Taco owner posted a YouTube video of taking his truck through the flapper brush (not pressure) car wash with the snorkel intake reversed and plastic bagged, and he had time while the young man at the end of the wash was exercising the towel and resetting the side mirrors to remove the plastic bag and reposition the intake.
