Gator FX Tonneau Cover on a 2021 Trail Edition???

2021 Tacoma Army Green Trail Edition

Lights all upgraded to LED, Demon mounts with shackles, Hood shocks, LED's installed in bed,

I am looking for a hard tonneau that will not break the bank.I have the Trail Edition but I removed the bed boxes all together so they are not in the way. Is there any difference in the rails or the bed of other short bed tacomas?? I keep seeing the tonneau covers don't fit trail editions but if the boxes are not used, why could I not use a normal hard tonneau cover??

What about the Gator FX, Tailback or the Rough Country Low Profile Hard Tri-Fold??
