Has anybody else experienced any issues with toyotapartsdeal.com? Having a hard time with customer service and to top it off I found part at local dealer 10% cheaper.

    Good for you .

I just got screwed by them. Ordered one item last Tuesday, got an email today saying the part is either canceled or on backorder. I called and asked which is it, and if it is canceled, what’s the replacement part. She says it’s on nationwide backorder. I ask why did they wait a week to tell me? She says items ship 1-3 business days after an order but with the holiday, they didn’t get to it. I said that makes no sense at all….

Chalk it up to people suck, I’ll never use then again.

Yes, happy I found a cheaper part, but I never got my money back for the part I returned. They send me a part for a different car, part number didn't match the part I ordered. They admitted they were wrong, acknowledged the return was received, and I could expect refund in 5-7 business days. It's been months and multiple calls and emails, but no luck. I'll never use them again either.

I recommend buying always buying with a credit card, dont bother with anything like PayPal or other garbage middlemen that don't have your back.

if the deal goes south, you dispute the transaction through your credit card company. done this many many times with BofA and they have always reimbursed me the full amount.

I dealt with them once, and only once. Customer service is horrible: according to them everything is in stock and ready to ship, but then your stuff doesn't ship for a week and a half, and when you contact customer service they tell you that your stuff will ship by the end of the day and you'll get an email about it. The email I received told me that one of the items was ready to ship to THEM, not to me. After 3 weeks of the same interactions for every item I had purchased, I cancelled my order.

Then I had to get my bank to take the money back because I did not receive a cancellation confirmation email, and when I called them to ask about it the lady (I think her name was Denise. I might be wrong) gave me an attitude and hung up on me. I called the bank immediately, and the money was back in my account within 3 hours.

I ordered the parts from Olathe Toyota, and even though i spent about 100 bucks more, they were delivered right when promised, and packaged to withstand an earthquake or something.

I wouldn't discount buying from them if you're not in a hurry, or have a deadline, or functional timeline for your project. If you need the parts rather quickly though, I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.

They are a conglomerate site meaning they have a network of dealerships they work with to find the best deals on the parts you want. Which is great when your order comes through as you wanted it but they are well known for terrible/lack of customer service if you have any issues or they screw up something.

I've used them in the past before I knew any of that and all was well, but probably wouldn't take the chance again. Better to just do your own searching for the best deals

    Having issues with them now.
Ordered two halfshafts for my second gen, received one of the boxes damaged and empty. Originally though the halfshaft must have slid out of the damaged box but they pointed out it wouldn't fit through the hole and denied my claim. I confirmed with the other one that it wouldn't fit through the hole, but the box was still all taped up when I received it so someone removed it and retaped the box. They are no longer responding. I understand that sounds fishy but I had the guy at Walgreens open the box so I have a witness. Will never sign for a package again without verifying contents. Filed a dispute with the credit card, they refunded the half my money as requested but said they will investigate.
Check out their BBB listing, not very reassuring.

Stay away from Toyota parts deal. They didn’t send me a transmission overfill drain plug and sent wrong transmission fill plug/o ring. I sent them pictures of items. I was told to send picture of shipping box and shipping label that I had already thrown away. I spoke with Diego at Toyota parts deal who basically said it’s company policy, nothing more we can do for you. So I filed complaint with better business bureau. I am disputing the charge through my credit card company. I will never use Toyota parts deal.com again and nor should you.
