Vehicles were not that expensive in my youth.

I had a friend with a concrete plant his son about Cole`s age made the full time loader operator look like it was his first day.

I can agree at times a third arm would sure be handy finding shirts would be interesting.

I remember the house with the large stone blocks it was said he discovered the secret of how the pyramids were built but never shared.

The plug that was in the unit was an Autolite BT8, but based on the condition of the threads, it's possible that one may have been "close enough" and seated with the age of a large Crescent wrench...

    First car - paid $400 for a ‘68 Mustang in 1980.

Amazing 1) how quickly those things rusted out with NE salted roads and 2) how much I learned about car mechanics with that car.

Still have the Sears light weight jack I bought for it but it’s started to have a leak in the cylinder..

‘Morning all :hattip: Hope everyone has a good day.

Checked it at 4:30 and it was still tight. Had a time getting it out without it falling apart, it’s done. Hope everyone has an awesome, blessed day :hattip:

Went to put two tobacco sticks back and I leaned up against the kids jumpy house and a wasp got me on the side of my knee cap. I came back, and won, or didn’t o_O

If you score the fat side in a diamond pattern before you apply the rub it helps break down the fat but also gives you more bark surface area..

and if you're really adventurous we can talk about what I call Vampire Pulled Pork.. but that depends on your like of garlic or not

New poll. Tell us about those projects you have going on or have planned.

I’m gonna redo the red utility trailer soon and either fix or sell our camper. Hopefully sell it :anonymous:

    Re: Poll

I have a massive backlog of repairs on just about everything I own, after a while I noticed everything done "had" to be done but I wasn't doing anything I actually wanted to do.

This summers "want to do" project is reclaiming the trail that runs around the property. I worked at/puttered at this for the first 10+ years and had gotten it to the point that I could take the mower all the way around the property lines (14 acres). For the last 15 years I haven't touched it, with the aid of the old Ford GT and a chain saw I'm making some progress.

This was completely clogged with brush and small fallen trees. Fortunately there is a bank to the right so I can shove the brush over the edge instead of having to cart it away.

It isn't work as far as getting something "important" done, just something I wanted to do.

Yesterday I chopped this log and the one further up and shoved them aside then worked the leaves and brush away. Progress!
