    Howdy all,

I wanted to float some opinions before I pulled the trigger on ordering this combination for a simple lift.

I am at the point (120k of a lot of dirt road) where my shocks need to be replaced. Rather than go with OEM, I've been looking at affordable kits with the goal of lifting 1.5-2" front and back while maintaining stock rake. I generally have the weight of my camper shell, some camping gear, and some light tools in the bed.

This is the best combination that I have arrived at with this goal in mind:

What are your opinions on this combination of AAL and shocks?

Real common setup and I think you'll like it a lot.

I went from stock to 5100 and almost straight to King remote resi coilovers. I loved the lift from the 5100s, but the ride was pretty harsh.

Had a shell and Prinsu racks front and back for reference on weight.

Do you think this combo puts me in the ballpark of 1-2"? I'm trying to avoid pulling the string of new UCAs, diff drop, and having it look goofy with stock tire size by going any higher

Which clip setting for the front would you suggest without having it sit nose-high?

If you want it level or nose just slightly under probably the 3rd, if you want the nose a tad taller the 4th

I just went through this dilemma myself (except Im on 6112s).

Keeping or removing the overload in the rear? Reusing stock coils or installing new coils?

I'd personally start the front on the 3rd or 4th clip, move up or down from there.

After going through the install pains it took me two hours to change the height settings this morning. (My first attempt left me nose high.) I spent more time waiting on Firestone to realign the truck than I did working on it

Thanks for the info for the starting point. I'm re-using stock coils, and looking to have it sit just less than level with my standard load of gear in the back

Couple pictures of what my ride height looks like.

My rear is the icon AAL, overload leaf kept in (against the install instructions)
