Still not sure what the final optic will be. Likely to keep the MRO and add magnifier. Pretty happy with the rifle though between the nox and vltor buffer system it's a pretty soft shooter maybe a tad undergassed with lower power cheap .223 but given that it will run suppressed 99% of the time once the sandman gets out of jail it's probably perfectly gassed for a can.

Got the blade prism set up on the bcm and zeroed for wifey hopefully this will work for her astigmatism. Pretty nice little optic not really a true 1x there's a little zoom to it.

Relentless Stealth front + Relentless standard rear plate bumpers w/ D2 cutouts, 2x Rigid D2 floods front + 2x Rigid flush D2 floods rear, BAMF behind-the-grille light bar mount w/ 2x Rigid 6" bar floods, KING coilovers/springs + rear adjuster shocks, Deaver leaf springs, Total Chaos UCAs, BAMF rock sliders, BAMF LCA skids, Relentless front skid, Low-Range Off-Road gas tank skid, Marlin differential plate cover, Marlin E-Locker motor guard, Hawke HD brake pads, Trail Gear steel brake line kit, Marlin HD full clutch assembly, deckplate intake mod + AFE high flow filter, ARB CKMA12, exhaust dumped over rear axle, 32/11.5r15 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT, American Racing Baja 15x8, Viper alarm + fuel cutoff switch, and more Toyota OEM parts + replacements than I care to list
Final parts came in. Swapped to a CMMG Zeroed bolt + ambi mag release, and added a Scalarworks PEAK. VLTOR A5 system went on the other day. Probably the slickest overall build I've put together.

    Anyone have a Colt from the 6940, 6944, 6945, or 6946 lines?

I'm looking at a 6945 as a factory SBR to suppress and wondering about likes/dislikes from owners.

Your are going to be hard pressed to find an opinion on anything other than Aero on this forum.

Colt is a solid mil-spec manufacturer that has added modern innovations to their lines, similar to the top tier manufacturers , i.e. it has a 1 piece upper, similar to LMT or LaRue. Its a good choice.

I have 10.5 barrel on my SBR, and I have come to prefer a handguard that goes over a low profile gas block. I think a 10.5 or 10.3" barrel is the perfect length for shooting suppressed, it has a nice balance.

Not a black rifle anymore. I’ve debated on doing this very thing for over a year now, and finally grew some cajones to just do it this morning.

Love it! I’ve thought about doing the one black one I have for a year now but as you said I haven’t had the guts. How do o you feel about it now?

I’m happy with my first paint job! I couldn’t bring myself to paint my optic though, since I’m not sure what’s gonna stay on it yet.

Here’s the finished product, I’ll snap better pics this evening.

Looks great, I think I am going to do this to my 10/22 charger for practice first. Then do my AR15 .300 BO second

Thanks! This was my cheapest build, that’s why it was the guineau pig. I couldn’t bring myself to paint the optic yet though.

Looks great! Once I started painting mine I won’t go back.
I do tan base coat and then work my way through OD green, Green, Brown, and something a touch of black.

That looks awesome, kinda like the German camo pattern.
