Remember when

Dewey Decimal or Library of Congress system?

 

You’d always try to select songs that had the longest playtimes. This was a challenge when the jukebox played 45s, but got much easier when the CD jukebox became the standard. You could block out the jukebox for an hour with $2.

 

Damn, that was like 70 years ago!

I was told if I did not like having a bed and getting fed I could leave.

I have bad sinuses even 10' of water hurt or I would have joined the Navy.

 

I don`t every remember Yellow Stop Signs Yellow was for warnings.

Did anyone Have Armed Forces Day in High School most often it was in May to hit up the kids that had no clue what they were doing.

Get the juniors planning on college into a ROTC program.

This was the early seventies.

 

I'm 77, started driving at 14 in Kansas, I don't remember yellow stop signs. I also never remember trucks as cheap, they cost less but everything else did too.

How old would you need to be to remember yellow stop signs?

 

Born in 30's

 

For me, that was during the Viet Nam era. Much of the country had an anti-war sentiment about it during that time. So no; no Armed Forces Day.

 

Probably didn't even need a driver's license back then.

 

They were yellow because you really didn't need to stop... just slow down and take caution....

 

Then it should have been a Yield sign not stop.

Which seem to have all but vanished.
