Just the stock 2020+ Pro wheels coated with dried mud. My post was mostly a joke more than anything but I thought it was amusing how they were coated almost perfectly.

LOL that's actually impressive but I do see it upon closer inspection. Love the look!

Same, I had to fly to VA last weekend to get my TRD OR DCLB and drive it back to FL. The only thing allocated here was 2wd sports... found an allocation in VA and jumped on it a month ago.

 Which dealer in VA as I had quite a few bad experienced with them all except McGeorge which could not get an Access Cab 6MT, so I had to go to NY and buy a cancelled customer's order after I received notification last minute.

It was Malloy Toyota in Winchester. Got tired of being on the waiting list at two other dealers so I was searching autotrader out of state for weeks looking up longbed vins in LR or AG to see if they were marked presold. Found a few and all were still sold when I called except for one allocation. They wanted a 5k market adjustment which I poorly haggled down to 4k. Sucks yeah but things just cost more now... It was built and mine in just over a month. Malloy is a small dealership who was nice enough to pick me up from the airport an hour away in dulles.

This seems accurate to me. I had a white 2000 PreRunner and the paint acted very similar to my '22 Lunar Rock. Easily "stained" by wet leaves and bug guts and things like that. The stains come out with a good cleaning, but they're annoying. No paint transfer when buffing, though, and had plenty of shine when clean and polished. I'll most definitely be applying a ceramic coating to help avoid staining and for easier cleaning overall.

I've only seen one other lunar rock off road in my town.. and it's a rental from the dealership. I tried to get them to sell it to me before I found mine, but no luck. It's a long bed. Wonder if they thought they couldn't sell the long bed or something and just made it a rental because both of their rentals are long beds.

Anyone running SCS f5’s in 16x8 0 offset with 285/70/16? I’m thinking of just swapping my F5’s over to the new truck

A reputable detailer should be able to paint correct and coat for $1000 or less, anything else you paid too much or bought into a gimmick of extra coats warranty.

    Agreed.

If you have a buffer, a covered area, and the time, it's well worth it to do it yourself. It's not that hard, honestly. Even if you had to buy everything new (clay bar, buffer, pads, polish, alcohol, microfiber towels, ceramic coating, and applicator pads) you'd only be spending maybe $300-400. And, if your vehicle is new and doesn't need polishing, it's even cheaper.

I enjoyed having the TRD Pro Lunar Rock while it lasted. Now i have already seen a few 22's out there and Lunar Rock is losing its mystique. Also, all the Rav4 doesnt help either.

Got my truck a couple weeks ago and took it to the races this past weekend. Saw a LOT of other Tacomas there, but didn't see another Lunar Rock. Love this truck!

I got mine just because I liked the color. I don't really care what anyone else thinks!
