Map Light Remains on

I am sure I fucked something installing these MESO lights without disconnecting the battery. I watched a few YouTube videos without anyone disconnecting it. I think I was unlucky and shorted something?


The left map light remains on and I removed it.


Anyone have any experience with correcting this issue?

 

You may have just pushed the button in. The button when you push on the lights specifically.

 

Can you post a picture of the back side of the Meso light.

 

Most likely you've done this:

Broken the push switch off...

 

If you zoom in on the Op's picture, it looks like it's still there. Although, I'm not sure if it would stay in place after breaking or fall out.

Sadly, you can't correct that issue. You should sell or part out the truck now while there's still time!

OP, if you have a buddy with same truck, swap the console for test.
