I found this work order dated before I bought the truck and when the dealer did the lift. Does anybody know why the dealer would change the needle bearings when they did the lift? The truck was brand new with 65 miles on it. What would they of changed them too?

Edit: Perhaps they purchased the below when they bought the lift kit and sliders from Toytec. I would be very happy about that!! They wouldn’t have any other reason to change out brand new bearings would they?

I bought the bushing when I bought my lift just so I had in case I needed it. My truck is fine right now but I do plan on replacing it anyway. Are the bushing install tool and removal tool that ECGS sells necessary for the install?

Do you need this in 2019 or 2020? Haven't noticed any failures in post 2018.

as far as I know toyota did not change anything for these models. This is a preventative mod that isnt expensive and isnt all that challenging to perform. If you lift more than 1.5” in the front Id suggest doing it. I did it with 1.5” lift because this is cheap compared to the damage than can be done
