Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
All things being the same, running higher octane than you need won't get you better performance. These days, things aren't the same. 87 octane gas almost everywhere has at least 10% alcohol blended, whereas in most places, 91 or higher is pure gas. Alcohol has a lower energy density than gas and will not produce as much power. That reduced power most likely will affect your mileage, it does with my truck. Locally, we have a place that has pure gas in their mid-grade pumps (89 octane). That's what I use. My truck is non-alcoholic.

I stopped here because this made sense.

I'm not worried about MPGs because I've owned a 3.5L vehicle and a 3.7L too.

I know what to expect and it's all based on my input.

No mods that adds weight for this guy (me).

I got 134 miles on 1/4 tank of gas the other day (I preset the mileage counter)--Highway driving using ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control).

If you multiply that X4, that's what a full tank of gas in my Sport produces.

The only time my truck saw 87E10 was when my dealer filled the tank before I picked it up. Ever since to this day it’s all been 91+ E0. My truck was on stock tune for about 3 years, now I’m tuned for premium gas. I’m curious if I did any good for the engine or the fuel system, or simply wasted my money hah. The truck drives awesome on 91+, stock or tuned. I never had hesitations, bogging down, misfires etc.
