I get tons of scratches on the side of my truck due to hauling lots of crap in my bed for work. What is the most durable wax for scratch protection? Something really heavy duty. I also have the super thin super shit white paint so it needs all the help it can get!

A ceramic coating like CQ Quartz would be most ideal, or a protective clear film wrap in your high traffic areas but ultimately nothing is really going to stop a good scratch from happening other than preventing contact in the first place.

That's what I use and while it's a great deep wax that's easy to apply lasts a long time offers great protection from UV and weather it's not going to stop a tool from taking paint with it if it drags against the side of your truck.

It hardly does much against brush on the trail.

Wax, sealant, ceramic is going to do ZERO from protecting from scratches. Only thing to use is paint protection film.

Well, a vinyl wrap may be the best solution. Yes, expensive.0DF6AD79-1EF0-41BC-8808-E014CF068882.jpg

I have a wrap on my hood flares and tailgate, while it's held up pretty well it still gets scratched up some.

Better than nothing for sure but not an end all be all solution.

Plus a full vehicle wrap is nearl as expensive as just repainting tw whole truck.

Line-X is probably the most durable solution but then you have a Line-X'ed truck and there's really no coming back from that.

I've considered doing it when my wrap starts falling apart but I also plan on keeping my truck till it just doesn't exist anymore.
