LOL. @prise and I knew you had to have something laying around. But my co-worker did turn some shift knobs on the Lathe for his Tundra (prise's old one) and I think has an extra.. should already be tapped for Toyota threads too. stainless.. probably get too hot though in the crawler now that I'm thinking about it.

i aint the po-po so i wont tell ya what to do, but the Red Creek trail is no longer a motorized trail, it officially ends where fr18 meets red creek

we tried to keep it open along with the other 1800 miles of forest roads and trails that closed this year but the off road comunity barely participates at public land use meetings.

Why? When you could be out shredding trails in SXSs and getting them closed?

It was a joke.... But we both know thats why it was closed. People trashing cool spots and IG getting them there.

I can tell you EXACTLY why it was closed, but instead, and to your point. I know it was a joke, but it's not just sxs's

I see ALOT of trash left from regular car campers, and I see ALOT of "responsible" overlanders in illegal places for a photo, hell one of the big web sites routinely supports and posts illegal trails and camping spots for hits to the site.

Irresponsible campers have always been here, but the explosion of social media outlets and the possibility of paid royalties has been a HUGE influence on outdoor recreation which, unfortunately, brings more irresponsible users out here.

Its just a sign of the times, and the only way to police and manage responsible use of the land is simply to make the accessible areas smaller.
