Hey guys I’m new here and have a question or two. Just picked up my 2022 access cab taco. And now dropping 3 inch lift in it. What size tires can I go with on the stock 16 rims with out rubbing. Toyota says I can go 3 inches with out voiding the warranty so it’s done. Next question bed covers. Is there one that uses the bed rails ? Toyota wants way to much for one figured I’d see if anyone had suggestions

lifting above 2.5 inches may prematurely wear cv boots and cause tearing

Fitting a 285’s usually requires cutting the cab mount area at the rear of the front wheel well (cab mount chop)

@boston23 Nailed it! The 265/75R16 would be the largest you could safely rub even with the lift as the lift does not net much additional space. The trouble comes from the Cab mount and tire width. There are folks who have gotten away with the 285/75R16 however most have rubbing at full turn. Another consideration with larger tires would be the weight. In the 285 size most options are going to be a E rated tire which adds a significate amount of weight.

We are happy to help further, PM on the way.
