God damn shops strike again. The “tech” probably came back to resume his fuck up spree while still basking in the glow of his lunch - half a box of Crayola crayons. When I had a real bad experience with a shop I was easily able to get 100% of the labor I paid back. Get a refund and go elsewhere.

I have the same truck (color and all); what is the verdict with the 5100 lift? Would you recommend this for someone just trying to get a nice lift with some larger tires? Also, how has the ride improved with the correction of the spring mount?

Carpet bed liner and Matt, fuel wheels KO 2 tires. Bilstein 6112,5160 frt. lift .white with black leather seats.
If you can get different coils. I had the 5100 on my last truck and it was very stiff. 2019 sport. My 21 off road has 6112 in front with there coils and 5160 in the rear with no lift . The front has 1.5 and its very smooth and controlled ride. 06091B80-1CBA-4702-8B17-5B13D290A827.jpg

I'm very content with my 5100s set @ 2" with stock coils. I'm also on C Load A/Ts, but doubt it would have anything to with bouncing though.

Four years on 5100s with stock coils and could not be happier. The ride is so much more of an improvement over stock.

Do you ride them at 2” of lift? Or, what setting do you have them at?

Thank you! This is a huge help in making my decision for a lift.

I just ordered the Billstein 6112’s for the front and a 1” lift block for the rear. Do you know if there is a need for a tapered wedge on the rear with such a minimal lift?

I just installed 5100's on the 5th clip myself in the garage over the weekend. First time ever building struts and they work flawlessly. I do not know why some people hate on them so much. Especially as this price point!

I believe my 18 has the shims but my block in a 1 inch non tapered. I'm on the 4th perch and a 1/4 shim on the driver's side. Did the ECGS clamshell bushing. I changed out the factory bump stops to Sumos and love the ride. I'm also on 265/70/17s Toyo AT2s which keeps the ride smooth.
