I see a lot of behind the seat sub boxes for dual cabs up to 2020, then almost nothing for 2021+. What changed, and can boxes that fit a 2020 be modded to fit 2021+?

I'm trying to avoid permanent cutting of brackets and such, which seems to make things even tougher. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Here is what I did. I’m still working out some issues with it. I removed the JBL sub and replaced the rear panels with non JBL panels so I could run my stealth box from my previous Tacoma.

can always call a salvage yard. their prices are normally much better than new, and at the rate that everyone's wrecking 3rd gens, you can easily get 2020 model year parts for a song...

I actually got lucky and found them on offer up for $150. I had to drive a couple of hrs to get them. I see them on eBay here and there for around 250 give or take some change
