Bad luck or bad tires?

    5000 kms on my 265/70R17 SL Toyo AT3's. I am happy with them... they are great in rain (we have had a lot the last couple months) reasonably quiet on the road, handle high speeds with confidence and so far are wearing very well. I am happy with mine so far.

    Toyota also has its engineers test many different tires for a specific vehicle to find which ones are best in average conditions that gives best performance, and fuel economy. Granted not everyone drives on the same roads, carries, or tows the same loads, so different tires with different tire pressures are going to work better for them, but may not for others.
