So far so good on my first Tacoma. Really loving the fuel mileage but I would be lying if I said I don't miss the RAM's hemi from time to time. Hah! Just topped the 2,000 mile mark so it still feels very new and I still have lots to learn about the bells and whistles.

Anyway, I am not a huge fan of the debossed style of tailgates these days so added the raised lettering to the new ride. A cheap additon. I think it makes it pop. Opted for matte black since the bumper, tonneau cover, tailfate lift, etc., was basically matte. Tailgate 1.jpg

Ha! Moving from the RAM to the Tacoma might be the only time anyone ever says “loving the fuel mileage” about the Taco.
    Congrats on the new truck!

Looks great! I like the raised lettering on certain colors, lunar being one of them.

    Enjoy the truck!

Pretty much every 3rd gen owner on the planet does this "mod" as the embossed lettering does leave quite a bit to be desired back there. And I agree, some colors need the contrast more than others and the Lunar is one them. Nice looking truck brother, enjoy!
