    Caught this little rainbow in Topaz canal, Topaz lake outlet.

    This is where I’m going to be cleaning my fish for the next 3 weeks… pelicans and all!

    Also managed to fill my net with discarded fishing line and a plastic bag full of trash from a 15ft section of bank!

    Sometimes I hate people.

    Today was release day, caught two rainbows and released both, the first for Murph the second because he deserved to grow some more.

    Both caught on a little brown trout rapala whilst trolling.

    Did some spinning and power baited some faux worms and got no hits.

    First outing on the new kayak so hoping the two catch and release will be good karma for future outings.

    Excited as we have just confirmed staying at this lakeside campground until 6/6. My upper body is going to be more toned by the end of June me thinks because of all the paddling :)
