I recently purchased one of the gas cap holders for my 2017 wWhite 4x4 SR (henceforth referred to as Snowball). However, when I went to remove the screw behind the gas flap it would not come out and now the head is boogered up. What is the part number for this screw or, alternatively, what is the screw thread pitch and length so that I can drill it out and replace it?

I tried everything that I could think of. Penetrating oil, vice grips, screw drivers. Finally the head stripped and I just need to drill it out carefully. Thank you for the screw size! I just recently got my first Tacoma after three different Z-71's spread over 14 years and I have learned so much on this forum.

Be careful with the fuel door, the hinges are pretty flimsy if you haven't already noticed. The screw in mine was really tight when I put my holder on as well. Good luck with the removal

If you have a dremel make a slot (for flat head screwdriver). Heat the screw, I used a blow dryer. Should back right out!
