    Check out electrical grommets. You local hardware store should have several sizes. Might suit your needs.

    There has been a TW member or 2 that has re-threaded the shift knob. I coloured mine in with black permanent marker which turned out satisfactory. I have also replaced the red side markers with the @MESO micro-switches.
    If you are looking for the side markers I have painted a few from red to gloss black.

    Still have some work to do. Need to fill in the gap where the boot meets it. Just messing around, retro'd a cyclic from a UH-60. Now that I have it built, I'm not liking it. Sits way too high, so may just got back to the TRD knob. But it was a fun Sunday project.

    Concept is killer! Perhaps find a shorter controller?
    It would be way cool if the buttons worked.
