Does anybody out there have any recommendations on trails in the LBTL area? Taking the fam down next weekend and would like to get some ideas of where to go.

My rig is pretty mild at the moment, just upgraded my skid plate and had all-terrains mounted. Really just looking for easy or maybe moderate trails.

When Turkey Bay is open, it's a good spot to hit, but I don't think it's open right now.

    This is a fun ride...

Hit 153 from the Trace (just north of the Bison/Elk Drive Thru)
    L onto 145
    L onto 144
    R onto 147
    R/stay straight onto 324
    L on 322
    L on 135
    Across the Trace onto 139
    Stay L on 139
Take that to the end and you're at the lake
Turn around, then on your way out take a right onto 318

Thanks for the route suggestion. They just opened up Turkey Bay this weekend, looks like I got lucky with the timing.

Had a great time out there at turkey run, but maybe even more fun out on the FS roads...

Turkey Run was super packed and I got stuck once pretty bad (nose bottomed out in a washed out ditch) but I got video of it from the dash cam for "entertainment purposes" :bananadead:

Going back to LBL next weekend to do some dispersed camping with the wife. Looking into potential spots around Wranglers Campground

There are plenty of forest service roads that offer great trail riding. If you have a mild or stock set up or riding without another vehicle, the cemetery roads could are sometimes the most extreme. I venture usually on the TN side off of Kentucky Lake because many of the trails offer more scenic lake views. Some trails do have alternate routes around runts and obstacles.

    My favorite FS Roads are: 392, 210, 141, 139, and 318.

You can also check out the Motor Vehicle Use Map.

From my experience...100 roads are the easiest to navigate with the 300 roads being harder.
