It's stupid dry here too, no water in the pond, all the cows got sold 2 weeks ago, I have 8 or more large water tubs out in various places for the wildlife. Bees will drink down a entire 3 gallon bucket in 4 days. I'm afraid of losing some of my live oak trees. I'm thinking about getting on the list for a second water well, $12 tp $14k, 3 to 4 month wait.

Neighbors just had one done, drilled to 180, pump was set at 150' on theirs.

Very little to no soil moisture past the 5ft mark', there is caliche rock layer.

I just decided to move instead. Now I live up in the mountains of AZ. Dont have to worry about heat. Max temp up here is 95 degrees for like maybe 1 week in August. otherwise we hang out around the 75 to 85 degree range. Dogs love it.
