What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I’m getting Deja Vu… What dimmer did you go with?

 

Does this have a tendency to overheat? I've been using my old GoPro as a dash cam (since my '18 came with the mount) but it often overheats after 45-60 minutes of continuous use if it gets over 80º outside.

 

Finally got around to installing a high clearance turndown exhaust by MBRP

 

mine does not. I have the original Garmin dash cam mini with 2nd gen dongar. No issues here.

 

Interesting. Mine turns off by itself sometimes. I wonder if this is why?

Mine doesn't turn off randomly and I've had it for a year now. I have seen video's that discuss the over heating and randomly shutting off issue. They attribute that to "parking mode" being enabled. If you have it hard wired to your battery or a battery pack and have that feature enabled, it always over heats the camera....thus, randomly shutting it off.

Had to have the airbag ECU replaced today. A SRS airbag error came up on the radio and an airbag warning light on the dash. Hopefully this is the last time it will see the service dept.

475 miles on the odometer. Took delivery on 5/24.

 

Off Grid Engineering strap and J hooks. Ordered this and then Coupe Pm'd me about custom powder coating one. I guess I'll have options when that one arrives.

 

I just installed a set on my side today. Wife told me to order for the passenger side.

Pretty pleased with how easy and inexpensive the sequential turn signal mod was. Really happy with how it’s subtle but really makes the truck have a nice finish to it. The cheap lights off Amazon aren’t as bright as I thought but they look great. The thread about them was helpful in deciding.
