My parents have owned this 2014 taco for about 2 years and last year I looked up solutions on here for the ac light blinking. I changed the sensor underneath the ac compressor and it seemed to have fixed it for a while. It’s now summer again here in Cali and it’s acting up again. Any suggestions?
I have already swapped relays with the tail light relay I believe and changed the compressor sensor.

The flashing A/C light is when the A/C amplifier does not detect a speed signal from the compressor lock sensor after commanding the MG CLT relay on.
    Possible causes are:
Open or shorted wire(s) in the lock sensor circuit
    Bad lock sensor
    Internal problem in the compressor
Open or shorted wire(s) to the MG CLT relay
    Failed A/C amplifier

You will need to check your wiring
The MG CLT relay should have power on pins 2 and 5 when the ignition switch is on, the A/C amplifier grounds pin 1 to turn it on.
You can momentarily jump pins 3 and 5 of the relay to see if the clutch engages.
Also check the wiring between the lock sensor and A/C amplifier.
The sensor signal itself can only be effectively checked with an oscilloscope.

Thanks man! That’s very helpful info. I should be able to figure something out now having schematics but before I start forgot to mention that it flashes but if you mess with the settings and it’ll work.. so I should’ve said the ac is intermittent.
If I set it to circulate, ac max cold, turn the ac button on and off, it’ll start to work and stay working.
The problem is you have to do that every time.
Also the sensor I changed was the compressor pick up sensor, I actually got it from my local Toyota dealer.

Check for power right at the mag clutch. If it's powered up with A/C on and the plate isn't spinning it needs a clutch assembly or compressor

I have 0.5ohms on the red and white wire that goes from the ac amp to the lock sensor. So that tells me the wiring is good. And the lock sensor is a year old
As far as the ac amp grounding pin 1 on the mg clt relay, I see it’s a light green wire from the amp to the relay.. if it’s also good does it mean the ac amp is bad?
My problem is only intermittent and today the ac has been working all day

Intermittents can be very difficult to troubleshoot, I mean it's possible the sensor is failing again but without a scope to see what the signal looks like it's kind of a guessing game since it sounds like your wiring appears to be good.
A/C clutch coils can sometimes go open circuit when they get hot too but that would have to be tested when it's acting up.
