Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
I've been tracking in an app for a couple years now. I get 350-400km "city" driving, and 400-450km on highway with fill ups typically around 65L. MUCH worse city mileage in the winter, but the thing barely gets a chance to get up to temp on my commute. I get under 200km to a tank in January.

If you want to save some gas maybe skip the heavy tires, low gears, supercharger, aerodynamic killing mods (lift, stuff on roof rack..), and near thousand pounds of extra steel.

A decent amount of stop-go. Just filled up with 70L and drove 620km.
I don't often track it however.

With an 80/20 highway/city split I get about 550- a max of 600 per tank with 265/70 17 E rated wildpeaks. When I had the stock tires on it was closer to 650-700 max per tank.

I drive 100km/h (not more) on the highway 98% of the time.

yea. It was pretty nice but those stock tires are not great off road. Realistically I could have bought some p rated off road tires but I like the piece of mind with the e rated ones.

it also helps that most of my commute to work is flat-ish highway driving.

the biggest help for mileage for me is sticking to 100km/h.

This is one tank of Shell 91 Octane no ethanol, mostly on the 401 between Mississauga and Windsor (pretty flat) over the past two days at a probable average of 100 km/h.
Truck is a stock Sport with 150,000 km on the odometer. Just regular maintenance. Original tires are back on after switching out the winter set of Duratracs.

Full disclosure, in Moose Season I get about 20 litres per 100 km messing about in the bush.

I did push it a bit to hit over 800 km to a tank but I had reserve of 4 litres of fuel and could have probably made it all the way home…

Impressive. For me, the best ever was around 10L, in a snowstorm, in 4 wd high. Forced me to drive around 80 km/h, and it liked that speed

Latest tank, again Shell 91 Octane, no Ethanol. 823.8 km for the tank.
1 major change was a brand new air filter.

Shell and the other gas stations that used to sell 91 Octane with no ethanol have been forced to add ethanol in Canada. I was told it’s not as much as in the regular but it is having an effect. The way it was explained to me there is no way to get fuel without ethanol in it anymore!?!
