Might wanna try starting a thread in the regional section of this forum for Canada, I'm sure there are other boosted guys up there that have some recommendations

Turn the supercharger pulley by hand with the belt off. Fell anything other than smooth operation?

I highly doubt a bearing in the supercharger is ONLY making noise at high RPM. Idle rattle is normal.

I would suspect fuel lean out. Possibly the fuel filter being clogged or weak pump or MAF dirty etc.

Knocking is definitely coupler and/or bearing.

Another possibility for the stumble is the rubber hose to the SC bypass valve may be cracked and leaking under boost at that 4k rpm mark.

Any performance tuner type shop should be able to handle a rebuild but you'd have to phone around.

Thanks man! I had no idea there was a regional section! I thought I gave the board a good once over. Guess I missed it.
    I’ll post in there.

    ****UPDATE****

    Good evening gents.
Since last posting here, I’ve had my SC taken off and sent to superchargersonline.com down in the states. They did a stage two rebuild, so everything from bearings to screws is all new in it.

I have the truck now. And she’s running like a Swiss watch.....

    HOWEVER.....
From about a year after purchasing, I’ve had a little OBDII reader. I screen shot’d a read out of Torque, HP and boost. Both of which I can surmise are readings that can only be described as “at the crank” as the boost numbers alone would put me into orbit. (389 ft/lbs torque, 357 HP AND The boost is laughable)

And then in 2020 I put a URD stealth 2.85” pulley on her. Numbers for HP and boost increased respectably.(393 torque, 375 HP and the boost is still stupid on the readout)

But on my drive up to ft Mac today, the same OBDII reader claims I’m doing at BEST 296 HP. This perturbs me.

Only thing that changed is someone TRIED to cut my exhaust but didn’t make it all the way thru the pipe. So Toyota replaced that section of pipe. I’m wondering if they replaced it with pipe from a stock exhaust and this is hindering my setup. Or is the catbak pipe the same as the OEM setup?

Other than that, I don’t know why she seems to not snap my head back in the headrest like she used to. Fuel economy seems to be the same as before.
Plugs were done a month and a half ago. KNN filter was cleaned and re-oiled.

You fine gents figure I’m missing anything?

I highly doubt those are real numbers. Probably calculated from a variety of info like MAF, timing, AFR etc. I wouldn't put too much stock in those numbers..

Toyota probably disconnected the battery when welding in the new exhaust? Maybe its just a computer reset you are felling?
