@m3bassman I picked it up today. Oh man, it's so so fun. What a little grin machine. Very happy with the decision.

Coming outta Lowes I saw someone working on their van across the parking lot as I was loading my truck.
But then the sound seemed dd so I turned around...turned out it was some tweakers cutting the fucking catalytic out of an old Ford E van and then throwing it in their car and speeding off. At noon on a sunny day. My brain had trouble adjusting to that.

    4 run, 2 don't
There's 3' 5' and 8' long pieces, in varying widths (per my request).

    All 3/16" steel

I don't understand why target older vehicles where the cats are probably toast or close to it, can't be worth hardly anything.

then again we're talking tweaker logic

Public high-five to @Kwikvette and @eon_blue who, along with some offline buds, said you better go manual on that thing. After day one, there's no world where I'd want the paddle shifters in the Mini JCW.

I have no idea. There was a guy near me on a motorcycle and we just looked at eachother and shook our heads. I mean the old vans are easy to crawl under and might be quicker to cut but wtf

That was my thought. Dude was under there with a sawzall and plenty of room and his tweaker buddies were all looking out.

It was also parked what I'd call, "mid lot," with nothing around it. I just felt bad for whomever went back and started it up.

Fucking crack heads! It been bad in Reno and Truckee the last few months. Was toying with the idea of fabing a cat skid just to help prevent it happening to me.

for sure. It's a plague everywhere right now, and with what new cats cost (esp if you live with smog regulations like us), that's an expensive repair

I always park deep lot at my Lowes with no cars around me. No more, I'm getting as close to the store and in between other vehicles as I can.

The bud built belly skid covers the cat pretty well, not sure if it leaves enough room to get it out though
