Really need my sliders to come in for the next time some genius sideswipes me with his camper even though I pull off the road to let him through. SMH

Changed the manual transmission fluid, wanted to improve shifting from the factory fill. Used the Motorcraft XT-M5-QS, 3 quarts. Expensive stuff but seems good so far, time will tell. Based on experiences of others here I expect great results.

Easy 30 minute job if you remove the shifter and pour the fluid in. So much easier and relaxed compared to working a slippery lube covered hand pump for what feels like an eternity. Unthread shift knob, push boots down, Pull the console trim, pull the two bolts and clips holding the lower shift boot down, press on the locking shifter collar and rotate CCW and out comes the shifter.

24mm on the fill and drain plugs. 90430-A0003 (2 of them) for drain and fill plug gaskets though you don’t really need them. 27ft/lb torque spec, fill the trans till fluid comes out of the filler (pour slowly or it’ll backup and overflow) and then bolt everything back together.

I’m gonna put this stuff in my Jeep Aisin AX15 next.

Sweet lord, not something I did to my tacoma but my wife and kids just came out and said it sounds like someone is breaking into the house... I went outside and there was a mouse getting beat into a pulp by the AC fan... poor thing was pretty tenderized by the time I got to it. Turned off the AC and pushed his corpse down past the blades.

Installed @MESO puddle pods switch kit. I thought it will fit in one of the blanks next to the auto high beam switch. I guess I need a custom switch panel. Also reflashed the idatalink maestro module to the latest firmware while I had the switch panels off.

I’ve been considering these, they look great! Could you post up a link to the exact ones, I know there’s several variations. Brighter than OEM? TIA:thumbsup:

Installed a full suspension lift on my buddies truck yesterday. Bilstein 6112's at 6/5 in front and 5160 with Icon RXT leaf pack in back. 2* shim, no CB drop. Going to do ECGS bushing in near future. 285/70/17 Goodyear UT.

I drove it to test for vibrations and curiosity as to the feel of the 285's. I gotta say, I love it. Zero vibrations and felt great. Here's a comparison to mine. I have same Bilstein setup and tires at 5/4 and HS 1.5 3 leaf AAL with 265/75/16. Fairly easy. Remove 10mm on A-pillar, plug in harness, remove the radio trim panel, remove four 10mm bolts so you can lift it out of the way, remove two 10mm bolts under the steering wheel panel so you can partially remove the right and lower part of the panel so you can get access to pop off the climate control panels. Reach down to Pop off the blank then I fished the switch harness thru the blank hole…Viola! I got the power!

Not sure the route you are taking through BC but if you're taking the Fraser Canyon out of Hope just be prepared for a few construction delays
