    My name is Jess Harvey.
I live in Battle Mountain, Nevada. Really. Look it up. People really live here.

I try to hit the dirt every weekend and my latest trip was a 9-day, back trail camping trip through Death Valley in my 2019 Tacoma Off-Road.

First, let me admit I have been a Jeep guy for all my life ...
until I took my 2019 Tacoma Off-Road on a trip. I was in love, and so was my wife.

Then, as semi-kidding around, I went to the Toyota website and built and clicked order on a new 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro in the electric (aka lime) green color. The dealer called me, put me on the waitlist (which was so long they wouldn't give me a number) and basically said, it'll never happen.

Then, the next day, the online sales manager called me and asked if I was serious. I said yes. He said, if I could fill out the paperwork online in the next 30 minutes, there might be a chance.

Of course, I did. They had a person who'd, about a year earlier, had pre-ordered the exact vehicle I had built online and put down the deposit. When the truck arrived at port, they called him and he was no longer interested or able.

So, lucky me, I am the proud owner of a 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro in the electric green. (It sounds better than lime green IMHO)

Currently, I have an RCI bed rack, a Condor XL Roofnest (not pictured), and a Decked system installed. I want to keep the vehicle as stock as possible, but I do plan to install a hidden winch system because I will use it.

Love the color, can’t wait for it to come out next year in the trd sport ( rumors have it ) , the trd pro is a little out of my price range .

Welcome. That’s one of those colors I think need to be seen in person to be appreciated.

It was amazing. We took 20 gallons of gas and 25 gallons of water and went through it all. It was crazy fun and barely saw anyone.

Thank you! The color is definitely not for everyone. My wife hates it. But when the sun is shining bright, it glows! And, it gets crazy attention.

Hello! I have a magnetic grey DCLB but high vis green is one of my favorite colors...had the electric green been an option when I bought mine...I would have really considered that option! Also, hello from Southern Nevada - I've hunted chukar up near Battle Mountain. Some pretty country up that way! Your trip to DVNP sounds great. Welcome to TW!
