    They usually keep the grass cut in the sites, around the tables, fire rings and tent pads. In theory shorter grass = fewer bugs and rodents and fire risk

    Nothing from me... I was going to make salmon for dinner but since it's been raining off and on all day I figure I'm probably going to be stuck inside with the door closed the rest of the weekend. And theres no trash service in camp so I can't even chuck the skin and stuff afterwards. Don't want the camper smelling like stinky fish.

    My Dad enjoyed it first as a Snow bird then full time :rolleyes: and his passing kind of "locked" our future..;)

    We are out in God's country side of East Ft.Myers , Lil area known as Olga .

    I think I'm developing a sixth sense for the rain. Just packed up my chairs and other outside stuff, doused the campfire, brushing my teeth and I hear the first few drops hitting the roof. At least it wasnt a mad scramble to get everythimg in for the night before the next deluge. And I got a solid 3 hours of campfire time.
