I have the OME leaf pack and have not really been a fan since day one with all the creaking and squeaking. Just curious if this is common when wheeling?

My dakar leaf pack squeaks too, my bed was creaking and it drove me nuts, turned out one of the bolts was really loose on the bed, torqued it down and all good, leaf springs still squeak but much better than the bed itself creaking

They can make noise but do take a look at the spring eye bushings if they have been in there a few years. If poly they can dry out and need grease or be falling apart which is easy to see.
Either way they have to be pulled out for greasing or replacement if that is the problem area.

Popping and clunking is usually not a good sign. Check torque on everything. I had the front main eye bolt on my leaf pack come loose once on the trail and it made a racket.

If that bolt or the u bolts back themselves out completely you're not gonna have a good time

    Agree with all the above

Check the bed bolts, the right front behind the cab is notorious for loosening up. Go to each corner of the bed and lift up, if it's loose you'll feel it.

My dakars are also squeaky af and make clunking sounds from time to time. Thinking about upgrading to HD or Deaver
