I understand that your purpose is to prove the spacer naysayers wrong, but if you presented the results of your analysis in an easier to understand format, if would be more useful to the greater and audience.

In any case, thank you for taking the time to do the analysis and post your findings.

36” ground to fender stock SR suspension. As noted in the first post I’m on bf ko2 265-75-16
After lift (After a week of driving)37 3/4” I’m using 2nd gen 5100 set @1.75 stock springs..it’s dead on the right lift specs. All my before after measurements is the same tire and same measuring points same place on the floor.. before I installed the 5100 I marked the coil spring to top hat before I took it apart so I put the coil back in the same location and lined up the bottom coil end on the 5100 perch since u can spin the perch to the end of the coil. Left n right measurements is dead same.I got lucky No taco lean spacer Needed..with half tank gas.

Not proving spacer haters wrong they partially is correct. From my findings 3” spacers yea they can bottom out ur shocks and give axle bind at full droop. But with the 2” Spacer it’ll hit bump stops before bottom ur shock out.
Yes sorry I’m not good with posting as u can see. Hehehe. I need more practice. Hehehe. Hopefully some stuff I said will help others out specially the installed coil measurement point. It stays the same no matter if u are stock,or use in coil lift spacer or 5100 set at the highest clip.

Um , spacers ? Very cheap way to lift. I never use spacers before. Maybe for some , installing spacers and off roading works.
But from what I understand it is not recommended for off roading? The angles on the front end? And the ride?

My good friend wanted to save money, purchase spacers, after a hunting trip, he took them out,( never again-spacers). End up put in King’s. Night and day. With the spacers and the off roading ,was not to his liking. Horrible handling.

Today he is searching for a 2022 Tacoma and he is willing to spend a little bit more money for a very trustworthy, super dependable suspension. Lives in California.

He found a 2022 Army green SR5, was suppose to see the dealer yesterday, no calls I am guessing either sold or too much asking price?

A7B67F58-8839-4B31-BD70-4F36FFDAEB82.jpg Tacoma808 , Ah a Ulua fisherman. Honolulu you should have very little problems running spacers. Not too much hard core off roading.
I use to fish the North shore and Nakatani’s before 80’s . Living on the Big Island. Drove around the point twice between Waianae to Mokuleia. When it was passable.
I do miss the bait casting, nothing but sliding baiting fishing today and Menpachi fishing.
    Original from Wahaiwa.

Good luck on your Tacoma! Remember today fishing is the best, because the year of 2022 fishing, twenty years from now , looking back will not be the same. B-4 years it was better. Enjoy the fishing today.

    I have a 2019 TRD LB 6112s & 5160s Icon AAL .275/70/R17

Yes Spacers have there limits, if ur blasting through woops at 50mph of course with any cheap lift will ride like shirt. And yea u will need king$ for that style driving. This guy on youtube can expalains it better https://youtu.be/_68Hc8GtLko

My style is jus lo speed mild trails jus to get to fishing spots in hawaii. We worry more about lava rocks cutting tires and getting battle scars at under carriage. Pic stock suspension with 4runner trails

Edit …not sure the youtube link is working but his channel is “Tinkers adventure”

Most of my fishing spots is on lava field trails, like the load range E , thicker side walls. Gas tank skid plates, trans & transfer case skid plates, lower control arm skid plates, rear diff skid plates, and a trailer hitch skid plates. Beside the factory front skid plates. 11C22916-B699-429C-965E-CAF26D2522E6.jpg

My son’s 2016 Tacoma with the two inch lift . He has no problems going to some of the hardest fishing spots. But the Long bed is a different story. I really needed. 4” lift or higher to just get there.
I only did a 2”+ lift, reason for skids plates. But too old to start climbing, so I am limiting my self to the more easygoing fishing spots.

Maui , I fish there just once, cannot remember the spot , but had to climb down a hilly cliff, flat black lava spots nice spot, spooky place. Near a old prison or something like that. 70’s .
