Curious if anyone has any nice camps (views/near water) near Lake Tahoe? We'll be out there for a wedding in August in Truckee but also have Family in Meyers. We'll be in our RTT. You could message if you want to keep sites on the DL. I talked to 395JNKY on IG and he said he's never had much luck in the area. Thanks!

Reach out to me before you come and I might be able to help you with off-grid camping in the area of Reno, Carson City and Tahoe. I work the the US Forestry service here in Reno. Camping near and views of Tahoe might be hard since most every inch of shore line looks to be private or commercial. In fairness, I have been here for a year so I'm still learning myself.

I live in Truckee. If you check out the Northern California regional forum people have posted some good Tahoe camp spots.
