Today while checking out my neighbor’s new tent for the bed of his new GMC Sierra I asked him about a swingcase toolbox he had in the corner. He told me he had it on his older sierra but forgot to take the bracket off so now he just has a toolbox with no bracket. He asked me if it would fit on my truck since he knows I have a hard bedcover and have been interested in a way to store tools (he is my main supplier of any tools I don’t have so he has been very involved in what I’m doing with my truck:rofl:). So now I’m here to ask you guys if the toolbox from his sierra would fit on my Tacoma, I have a short bed Tacoma and he had it mounted on a short bed sierra if that matters. When I checked swingcase’s website the “dimensions” tab makes it look like they’re all the same size but I wanted to ask here as well. If it will fit then hopefully I can buy just the mounting hardware from swingcase.

Those cases are the same size, just have to call the manufacturer for the brackets. Just have to make sure you know if you have the older or new style toolbox since the brackets are different.

I have a Swingcase. Love it. Just get the Tacoma install hardware and you should be good to go.
