Can’t believe I haven’t stumbled into this thread before. Here’s my AMD-65. First gun I ever bought back in the day when you could still get them with the real Hungarian 12.5” barrels.

I build so we have a few. Last one is a bulgarian AK-74 build in 5.56

I used a 5.56 barrel and 5.56 mags. The standard 5.45 bolt and carrier works fine.

Funny thing is that stock is a cheap Romanian I had laying around. It’s cracked at the tang when I tried forcing it off my sar2. The grip is just a wood AMD. I’m sure desert fox sales has them.

Really? I guess they are pretty close to the same size. To bad it's not easy to change barrels on an AK. Mine is a Definitive Arms VEPR, so I probably don't wanna change that.

Anyone have a 22 LR AK-47. I saw one on Sportsmens wearhouse .com but it got snapped up really quick.

It's becoming harder to buy 7.62x39 right now because of the war. I would like to get a 22 LR version to keep muscle memory in shape without wasting ammo .
