New Guy Rambling

Hello Tacoma World- Long time lurker here, first time poster. I almost live in my 2014 Access Cab 4x4. I am a carpenter doing remodels mostly, and I spend a lot of time doing paperwork, or waiting on subcontractors. I have had the truck for about 4 years, but only started modding it a few months ago, when the seats started to hurt my ass so bad I started seeking solutions. It was here on TacomaWorld that I found out about the Desert Does It seat-Jackers, and that kicked off a little bit of an obsession with improving my truck...

Thanks to everyone here for all the info and inspiration, I have now made my credit card companies happy by picking up Fox 2.0 Coilovers, rear struts and AALs, Body Armor Bumper, Clazzio seat covers, and a whole mess of raw materials to put together a sturdy new electrical setup for accessories, and potentially another battery system.

Anyhow- Looking forward to sharing photos when the site finally lets me. So far when I try, I select the file I want through the site menu, it shows in the window, but then nothing actually happens. Is this because I'm using a mac, and they don't actually store files locally anymore? If so, I guess I will need to sign up for photobucket, or imgur, or something like that. I have poked around here for answers, but so far nothing has addressed this specifically. If anyone has solved this issue with their own account, please let me know how it worked for you.

Damn. Long post for a newb. Wonder if anyone will actually read this?

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! I guess I got my answer! Sorry about that. lol. I guess uploading photos is just something we do without confirmation from the site until it publishes. Now I will try to figure out if it is possible to remove some of these. Sorry, everyone.

 

It can be kinda hard to see and it might not even appear at all if you have bangin' internet but there is a little blinking three "sequential dot loading bar" when it's processing an image but after it lets you insert the image it's uploaded.

Basically if you can see the image in the text box or the thumbnails underneath it's uploaded, if the screen is darked out or you see the "thinking dots" in the upper right corner (usually) it's still uploading.

We can be sarcastic asses but we have fun here.
