Much like any vehicle, driving habits and conditions dictate fuel milage. If a driver engages the turbo frequently or does a lot of city driving or towing, fuel milage goes down.

Conservative driving on the highway will get over 30 mpg easily. I'm at 3000 miles and close to 32 average mpg overall.

Maverick is not even close to being the vehicle that a Tacoma is. Hence the $10k+ price difference.

1st Maverick I have seen with contract signage on the door. Looks like a landscape company.

The Maverick is actually bigger than the Santa Cruz, but the Subaru Baja was definitely smaller:
    SC - 196" Long, Mav - 200" Long
    SC - 67" Tall, Mav - 69" Tall
SC -75" Wide, Mav 73" Wide
    SC - 48" Bed, Mav 54" Bed

3.5 ecoboost gets 19-20 mpg unloaded in 2wd in normal driving conditions. Hybrid 3.5 probably brings those #s up.

Former powerboost owner. Mostly really short trips less than 3 miles once or twice a day. 18.9mpg in the city and 22.5mpg when we did take it on longer trips. Never touched the 24 mpg the sticker claimed.

the hybrid 2.5 on the Maverick is supposed to be getting 35+ mpg from the other places I’ve seen.

EcoBoost 3.5 is in the f150 or powerboost 3.5 hybrid

Maverick has the 2.0l EcoBoost or 2.5l hybrid.
