I recommend doing it in your garage. @Tigerian was quoted $900 by the dealer for one. We did it for under $100

There's a guy on TW that does the best bearings on the market, pricy, but they are genuine Japanese bearings and a lot of guys vouch for their reliability.

Yeah really. From what I read, the dealer cant buy the assembly so they have to press out and replace the bearing.. so it’s a lot more time.

 

ah that makes more sense even thou its such a waste of time! id for sure just go and buy a new hub like i did in the past

 

Yeah…one of the most ridiculous quotes I’ve seen. Especially considering I’ve had to do them for work trucks before and already had an idea of how much it should cost. Lol

Junkyard? no. Searchtempest however will drag all the major players like craigslist, ebay, facebook marketplace was recently implemented, autotrader, etc.
