All lighting are led, wheels, tires, 5100 lift, pro grill, bed light, seat covers, door sill protectors.
I'm right on that boat, I even lowered mine down exactly 2.5" which is more than plentiful of travel, my guess is, these springs are probably too stiff or the dampening on these coilovers are just crazy fast.

2.5 is supposed to be the max. Lower to closer to 2” and it should be fine. Also you only have around 1” of down travel at 2.5” of lift. These trucks don’t have very much travel.

Good info here on this kit. I just ordered the Stage 2 kit and added Icon mini pack AAL kit. I have seen alot of posts on adjustment (including post 561) I am looking to maintain a little rake to the truck. so 2"- 2.5" up front and 1.5" in the back should do me just about right. I am not going to max out tire size and will be running stock wheels w/275x70 R17 on spacers (till my new wheels come in.)

I will be doing the needle bearing/ECGS Clamshell swap at the same time and then will likely add upgraded UCAs at some point down the road.

I am assuming I will have to turn the driver side up a little to adjust for the Taco Lean (1/4"? or 1/2"?), but I think everything else should work out pretty well with this setup.

Run the fronts around 2” lift (the way they come) you will crank in an additional 1/4” driver side to accommodate for lean. I’m pretty happy. I’d do your UCAs at the same time. Might want to consider a leaf pack instead of AAL for a few hundred more if you haul stuff / trailer.

Yeah, I decided I am going to run JBA UCAs as well, almost ordered them today. I will pull the trigger on those next week probably. Don't do any towing or real hauling at the moment... At some point I will replace the spring pack, but for now the AAL will be fine.

Mine have almost no downtravel it seems.

Any pothole or speed bump taken at a speed that isn't literally 1-2mph makes a slam sound as they top out.

I even dealt with Eibach for a bit on this, they thought it was the sway bar.

Removed the sway bar and still have the issue.

I will be adjusting them down to see if that helps at all.

Man this looks incredible! Did you set the front to anything in particular or put them on as is out of the box? Does it actually lift the front by 2.5 and rear by 1.5? Thanks for any info

The front for me out of the box was about 45mm... (1 13/16") the kit only does the front, and it supplies rear shocks. You have to do the rear lift with something else. I used the Eibach 1" lift blocks.

Hello fam, need help with my stage 2 coils. Installed them today but when I try to adjust the coil height it seems to be moving the whole spring and shock with the perch. How can I move only the perch?

Just got my Stage 2 kit today including 1” blocks for the rear. Can anyone recommend an UCA to pair with this kit?

Technically you don't need one. Toyota puts on a similar lift without changing the upper control arm. If you wanted one... then there are lots out there. I have a Terrain Tamer UCA which is a rebranded OME.20220303142645_IMG_0898.jpg

If I were to do it again, I would probably skip the UCA.

Thank you for that info! With my wheel setup I am looking for some additional positive caster adjustment. I think I would benefit from that based on what information I’ve read.

I say this about UCAs. I had stock UCAs with my OME springs and spacer lift (885 with 1/2" spacers + 1/4" on DS over 2.5" lift) and it drove OK and I had about 1.8* caster. I then went to the Eibach coils and removed the spacer and got a little bit less lift by about a 1/4". I installed Blackhawk UCAs - really nice UCAs by the way- which gave me 3 degrees added caster. I now have over 4* caster on both sides and to be honest, the steering feels just a little bit heavy and I rubbed even more than with the OME lift (which was very slight). Keep in mind that more caster introduced with the UCA actually moves the wheel CLOSER to the cabin. I can't get the caster down around 3 with camber in spec. If I had to do it all over again I would get the SPC arms so I can have more adjustability. I had the SPCs on my 4Runner and they were fine. Those JBA arms someone mentioned earlier also have 3* caster built in which, IMO, is a little too much for a 2" to 2.5" lift. The sweet spot for caster is 2.5 to 3 * and I don't think you'll need UCAs unless you go over 2.5" approaching 3" lift. My 2 cents.

Yep, SPCs are the way to go for clearance. Basically you end up getting more caster and more clearance by moving the top of the wheel back toward the firewall with the UCA, then moving the LCA forward toward the bumper. I'm only running 32s but could fit wider 33s without rubbing (stock wheels). The other problem is wheel offsets that can tangle people up with some aftermarkets or spacers. The wider stance increases radius.

As I said in my post, increasing caster with the UCA actually decreases clearance at the cabin mount which is where most people experience rubbing. Increasing caster with the LCA cams is what allows for clearance. With my 4Runner I maxed out the LCA cam caster by turning the rear cams all the way out and the front cams all the way in then set caster to the “C” setting (+1 degree) and dialed in the camber. Believe I ended up with around 2.5* caster.

I also did have a small amount of rubbing with spacers. 1.25”. I changed my rims (offset) and never rubbed after that.

When I had my Eibach 2.0's up front, I originally was at about 2" of lift. Same as most of you complain about, they were constantly topping out, and it was extremely harsh. Loved everything else about them. I could top them out nearly every day by just street driving.

I ended up putting a bumper and winch up front, which lowered the truck a half inch. The ride was MUCH improved, and I really had to try to get the suspension to top out. I would say 1.5" of lift is about the max usable lift you can run on these without being unhappy.

I've since moved to Fox 2.5's from Accutune. The ride is better, they rarely top out (but when they do it's still pretty harsh), but they are also at least 3x the cost for just the fronts.

JBA got my vote, the quality is top notch for the price, they will do what I want, and I have read much more good than bad about them. You could always go with the Eibach Pro-Alignment UCAs, they are just rebranded SPCs but a bit cheaper from what I see. There are a couple of other sets that use the SPCs and rebrand them. I can't think of the names at the moment but they are out there and most of them are cheaper.

How much thread is showing with the 1.5” lift up front?

I removed my sway last weekend and the ride is much smoother, but I still top out quite often.

I will lowering 1/2 inch to see if it helps.

I can't imagine the suspension slamming like it does it good for anything.
