New Member and Tacoma Owner (Aloha!)

Aloha Everyone,

My name is Kyle. I was born and raised on Oahu and moved to Oregon about a year ago for work and family. I have always dreamed of owning one of these beauties and fortunately this year (2021) they had to come out with their exclusive Lunar Rock color which hooked me instantly. I spent the last 7 months saving up money, calling dealerships and later managed to get my hands on one about 3 months ago up here in Oregon. As you might know, if I tried this back in Hawaii, it would have been a nightmare, but luckily Oregon had a couple in stock that allowed me to scoop one up. This truck came standard with all the bells and whistles that a TRD Pro should come with. I do intend later on to add more modifications, but as of right now I got some priorities in the books before my truck...proposal/ring to my girlfriend...

So far I love the truck, besides the gear-hunting, I do appreciate the durability and looks of my Tacoma and I kid you not, every time I park this sucker, I always look back at it before I enter my house. As TacoTwonz said, "If you don't look back at it, you bought the wrong truck." Nonetheless, I am happy to officially join the group and proudly say I own a 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro.

Hey all; I'm getting a new 2022 tacoma SR5 and some people here in Hawaii are telling me to get the the stainless steel exhaust to help with rusting.I don't plan on offroading or anything to rough. Anyone have any advice on if i need to bother or not?

Welp I'm getting my new taco tomorrow so super excited about that! Of course it came weeks early so now I have to rush things and make decisions hahahaha.
What do you all think about T&T tinting? I have quotes from them for their formula series of tints I am looking into but I am unsure if I should get the "AIR (Automotive Infra-Red) 80 Windshield Heat Blocker" for my windshield. Someone told me on their Honda Fit they get a weird glare/ ring effect around lights that throws them off but we think her windshield is a lemon and angled wrong so that may be a factor. Do any of you have any advise either way?
