Have you had your feedback removed from Tacoma Beast's Website?
i bought a transfer case skid plate for my Tacoma from them.
when I went to install it, it kinda sucked in the fitting and in what you had to do to your truck.
after an afternoon drilling holes, cutting pieces, grinding others....i thought it sucked as a product.
so I emailed them giving them the story, sent pics of the fit....and posted a 1-star review showing all the issues.
few weeks go by, and I go back to their website to research rock sliders.
I decided to look at the transfer case skid plate to see if other people had had problems and what they had to say about it.
    My feedback had been deleted.
And the person I emailed back and forth with about products and stuff, went totally silent when I asked him about deleting my review....told him they reminded me of Amazon.
So the real chatty guy never emailed back or responded more emails.
So if you've posted a negative review on their site, it would be interesting to check and see if they've deleted it.
I of course didn't get the rock sliders....how can I trust it's reviews?
that's sad...they have so many good products.....oh well

There's a reason why they're banned from here. Actually, reasons plural.

Yep don’t give them any more money.

Scumbag group of people and their business model is shady. All they do is drop ship and act as a middle man to a lot of products you’re able to order directly from the manufacturer, and you’re paying a premium for that. If they provided excellent customer service they might have earned the respect of more people, but they don’t even do that.

On a side note what transfer case skid plate did you buy? Haven't heard of one that requires drilling holes, cutting pieces and grinding.

I bought an item from them that others sold but no one else had in stock at the time. Didn't have any issue with them. That was before I learned about the defacing thing. Now forget them that's so wrong.

I always assumed that was fairly common when I read thru reviews. Like there is no way everyone who purchases “X” didn’t have any issues or complaints.

    A bunch..and no build thread!
I have RCI's transfer skid plate (and all of their skids for that matter) and did not have to drill, grind or cut ANYTHING. Direct fit. No issues.

I think I bought one thing from Tacoma Beast before I read up on their asshat tendencies, so they were removed from the pool of potential vendors after that.

I just visited their website and they look pretty good and would not believe that they are that bad as their website is impressive. I guess you find out when you use their services. It is a shame to degrade Tacoma brand name like that. just saying.

Yeah I don't care that they got an A+ in their webpage design course. Why would anyone buy from a drop-shipper when the manufacturer sells the same thing on their website directly, and for the same price? Why even support that, its such a lazy way to make money. And guess what happens when you need support or warranty?

Support the makers of things. Fuck lazy drop shippers.

True to those who have bought from them but what about those who have no clue till they buy. I am sure you did'nt either till you bought or was warned about them.just saying you don't know till you try.

I'm wired a little differently than most. I watched the lawless early 90's rise of the internet, back when everyone either wanted to scam you, hit you with a computer-melting virus, or have you watch a cartoon about a frog in a blender.

Its from that environment that I don't send anyone my money unless I thoroughly research what they are about first. And its usually through that research that I find a)whether or not the company is run by asshats, or b) there is a better source to buy from.

I didn't know anything about TCMBST, nor did I have to. A quick google search before clicking the buy button saved me from dealing with them. But that's me. These sites still thrive because I guess the majority of people will blindly say "...yeah this site seems legit. Let me just tell this stranger how to access my line of credit, because the picture of that bumper looks pretty badass."

I dont blame anyone for making that mistake. I'm just saying to learn from it. Learn how to be suspicious of the next vendor before telling them how to withdraw money from your bank. :cookiemonster:
