Side mirror signals

I've noticed that my mirr turn signals on my '12 only work when I unlock and lock my truck, not when I use the turn signals, a fuse maybe?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

That's odd, do your rear signals work? They are powered by the same circuit as the rears.

 

Turn on your hazard lights, see if anything else is out. Another good indicator is hyper blink

 

I think the only way I would know if they are working or not is to let someone else drive my truck...

 

See that's the thing... My hazard and blinkers work fine, but my side mirrors don't for some reason

 

Take the door card off and check the connection. When mine didn't work, granted I swapped the signal mirrors on to mine and had to wire them myself, the thing that held them back was a bad ground

 

Yea I thought about that, I actually ordered some sequential mirror lights so I'll see if they work when I install them

 

I put the sequential ones in mine too. Did you get blacked out or silver? i did silver because super white. The blackened ones would look good with different colors.

 

How do you like them? I ordered mine in black, my truck is black, going to eventually black everything out with some red accents

Nice! Any issues with condensation or water, how long have you had them and where did u purchase them? Sorry for the questions, I ordered mine through ebay

 

I did the ebay ones and I have had no issues with them. Had them installed since October last year. Fit and function perfect. I also had to take mirrors apart and manually wire them since RCs do not come with pwr or blinker mirrors in 2008. I swapped to the 2012 pwr mirrors I got for cheap then added the white covers and blinkers. Still need to run pwr wiring but that is low priority since they stay in one place.

looks good.......yeah, went thru some inner conflict and indecision over black or not but was leaning towards them blending with the white and then found the silver $10 cheaper than black so I went with them...

 

What’s the difference between the sequential and the stock led other than looks? Brighter? Instead of blinking do they function differently? Curious. I have the oem leds on my 13.
