    Hello all,

I bought by 2008 PreRunner about a year ago and it came with a rough country spacer lift kit. I believe a 1" block in the front, and a 2" block in the leafs. Shortly after purchasing I put on some trd pro wheels and 265 70/R17 K02's.

There's a couple things not right with this suspension setup and I'd like to switch it up. First, I'm using the stock UCAs, which causes the angle of my lower ball joints to be askew. On both ball joints the boot is slit and there's no grease (not sure if that's an issue or not). Secondly, I'd like to get slightly better ride quality. The (I assume) stock struts are coming to the end of their life.
And lastly everything squeaks horribly loud.

For the frontend I'd like to get rid of the spacers and factory struts and replace with new struts + UCAs. However I'd like to keep about the same lift that I currently have. Which leads me to ask- how much total lift does the 1" spacer in the front give me? As I understand it's not exactly 1". Furthermore, what loaded strut pair will give me a similar lift? (I don't want to mess with springs). As the truck is a PreRunner I don't off-road much, so is there anything out there with maybe more of an emphasis on ride quality and price? I've been looking at the rough country loaded struts just because I don't need anything crazy and their price, but are these pieces of junk?

I'll probably just leave the backend as-is, I think the only other thing I could do is an add-a-leaf, which I think may be a bit much for a PreRunner but idk.

    Any advice is appreciated!
