AC and horn both stopped working? 2011 TRD

Hey friends, maybe you can help me solve a puzzle.

I noticed my AC was blowing warm air, so I started watching videos on how to troubleshoot it. The AC compressor clutch still rotates freely by hand, but does not turn when I turn the AC on. Videos said to test the AC magnetic clutch relay by swapping it with the horn relay in the fuse box. I did so carefully, with no luck, so put them back as they were. Then, I went to check the horn, and it's also dead. That seems like a heck of a coincidence for both relays to have gone bad on their own while everything else works fine, but I'm no electrical expert. All other steering wheel controls including audio still work fine, so I don't think it's the clock spring causing the horn to stop working (could be wrong, seems odd). Fans work as normal. Just no AC, no horn. There are no diagnostic warning lights on - everything A-okay that way.

I checked electrical cables under the dash as I had it open at one time to get rid of a dash rattle issue. I thought surely I must have knocked a cable loose or something, but after thorough inspection I can't see anything disconnected anywhere.

Any ideas what might cause AC and a horn to fail at suspiciously the same time? Should I be ordering new relays for both or does that seem odd?

I'd swap a know good relay in the horn relays place then see if the horn works, if it does then either really weird coincidence or the ac clutch is frying relays.

I tried a known good relay today and still no luck.

Does anyone know if there's a particular cable or wiring that could effect both the horn and AC? It seems so odd that they both stopped working at the same time while everything else works fine without any diagnostic lights showing up.

Hey there, I am no good with AC Systems and had hope maybe someone else would jump in and help.
I’ll at least do my best to get you pointed in the direction to start looking.

I’d start by check for power at the fuses and relays.
Pins 2 & 5 of the MG CLT relay with the ignition On.
And pins 1 & 3 of the Horn Relay.

If those are good, then it’s probably going to take someone smarter than I to help.
    Best of luck to you.
